The current threat from terrorism, both in the UK and internationally, means it is vital police work closely with commercial organisations to improve our collective security. HCSTPV at the University of St Andrews are delighted to have won the first ever Counter Terror Award for our Counter Terrorism Education Project by a process of nomination. From start to finish, the ceremony at Olympia, London was a showcase of personal achievements, new technologies and teaching and learning in the field of CT and the organisation of the event and calibre of guest presenters was exceptional. It's an honour to be a first recipient of what we are sure will be highly contested awards in years to come.
